I did my very first newborn shoot today for a very good friend, and got a few good pics from it. I just got a new lens, so I'm still getting the hang on things. Thankfully I live close by and I can take some more in a few days!

Fun fonts for blogger post!

I'm always always always learning something new! Whether it be some new way of coding, more about css, more about html, whatever. I love to learn more. My goal is to be able to help all my customers without hesitation.

So tonight, I was looking around online for some new fonts, since I'm always needing them ;), and found this great tutorial on replacing your post and sidebars title for your blogger blog with your own custom font! I'm so super excited about this! I've been doing this for wordpress for a while, since wordpress has plugins, and makes these kind of things easier. Now I can do this for blogger. How exciting!

Iphone apps and all things Mac

I don't talk about it much here on my blog, but my husband and I are huge Mac fans! We both have Macs, iphones, a mac hooked up to our tv, and even an airport extreme router! I'd say we are decked out!

About 2 years ago, my husband started developing a product specifically for touch screen devices, and naturally, we marketed it toward mostly apple products. iKlenz is a cleaning solution that comes with a carrying case and microfiber cloth and is an excellent product for all things touch. Seriously, my iphone gets so yucky after just a day or 2, and I alway use iKlenz for my phone.

We are currently in over 40 retailers online and plan to gain bigger accounts in the near future. My husband, who also loves graphic design, has just redesigned the site. You can check out the new site below!

Now we are getting our hands a little dirtier in the apple market! My husband is part of a team of great guys who are now developing an iphone application! We are super excited about this and it has been such an incredible experience to see this app come to life! My wonderful husband and I have both been working on the graphics and I think they are incredible if I do say so myself ;) We hope to have the application released by July 09 and I'm sure if you have an iphone, you will LOVE it! I will definitely keep you updated on the progress and let you know when it's been released!

How to add a "grab code" widget?

This is one of the biggest things I get asked when doing a blog design. Clients want to make sure everyone can "grab" their button!

Well, it's really really easy in fact to do this.

1. Upload your banner/button to photobucket

2. Copy the HTML CODE. It should look like this:

3. You will want to change some things in this code, so that is will link to your website. Change the link after href=" to your domain address. Then change where it says photobucket to the name of your blog.

4. Now go add a widget/gadget is your blogger dashboard

5. Select the html/javascript widget.

6. Paste you final code from above.

7. Then type <> paste your code again, and type < /textarea > (please leave out the spaces)

My first maternity shoot!

I had my first maternity shoot last night with a good friend of mine! We had a blast and I'm so happy with the end result. I honestly can't believe I actually got some good shots.
